The North Conference Bantam Champion West Central Tigers are now the SCAHL League Champions after a thrilling double overtime win over South Conference Champion Wheatland 2-1. With the win West Central takes the SCAHL Bantam Championship, and they now will advance to play for the Alberta Bantam AA Championship.
In Midget, the Lethbridge Hockey Hounds captured the League Championship with 4-1 game two win over North Conference Champion Bow Valley. With the win, they take the final series 2-0, and advance to the Alberta Midget AA Championships.
The Pee Wee AA Finals were extended to game three as Central Alberta handed Medicine Hat their first loss in the SCAHL this season with a 5-4 win in Lacombe. Game 3 will go today in Medicine Hat, with the winner moving on to Pee Wee AA Provincials.
